When Jesus was here on Earth in human body he said to the people 'I am the Light of the World!' (John 9:5). Jesus further says in John 12:35 'My light will shine out for you just a little longer. Walk in it while you can, so you will not stumble when darkness falls. If you walk in the darkness, you cannot see where you are going. Believe in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light'.
This heavenly light removes darkness in the lives of those people who believe and walk in this. As a physical light removes physical darkness, where people's inability to see their world is converted to mastery when light shines and shows them how their world is and which way they should move forward to reach their goal similarly we have with heavenly light.
The heavenly light - Jesus, when we receive him, we are capable to see things clearly. We become capable to see how the world really is, what is right and what is wrong for our soul, where to not go to avoid stumbling. The light gives us a way to walk to reach our destination of eternal heavenly life.
When there is no light, we move in darkness. We don't know where we are going when we move without light in darkness. When we move in darkness we are walking in danger. Without light we walk in the ways which make us stumble, injure ourself and even can be fatal. That's why we have headlights in cars, bikes etc. When we walk in darkness we walk in fear and in danger because we are not able to see the things which are dangerous to us and harm us.
Similar is the way with the Heavenly light. When we don't have heavenly light from God i.e Jesus we walk in spiritual darkness in this world. But when the heavenly light comes in our life, we become capable to see the world with right eyes and get strength and confidence to walk in the world by conquering over it. When this heavenly light comes, it shows us things clearly, it gives us the way of righteousness to walk to lead a winning life. We no longer fear about anything when this light shows us what things actually are. All things works for the good of the righteous person. Thousands may fall but God will make righteous person stand up and successful. Come near to God, pray to God to come into your life and to transform you that you and he be united, become one.
Jesus said believe in my works that I have come from the father (John 14:11), similarly our works, our conduct in life, our walk in life should be such that people see that we are from God, obeying God and God will give us success when we are in him.
